Fed: ABARE chief issues call to arms for competition

CANBERRA, Feb 27 AAP - Australia's chief commodities forecaster today rallied behind
further deregulation and competition to boost national wealth, especially among farmers
and miners.

Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE) chief Dr Brian Fisher
used his address to the annual Outlook forecasting conference to sing the praises of competition,
lower tariffs and the benefits they bring to the bush.
