NSW: Catholic priest arrested on 30 sex charges =2
The offences were allegedly committed while the priest was working in the Newcastle
area, police said.
Strike Force Georgiana has been investigating the allegations after an initial complaint
was made in April this year.
Detectives have received assistance from the Newcastle-Maitland diocese of the Catholic
Church, police said.
